Kumuka was not our first choice as a tour company because we were not even aware of Kumuka.  After our initial tour was cancelled, the travel agent found the Kumuka tour which closely matched our booked holiday times.  We were at first apprehensive because the documentation said it was for 18 to 45 year olds and we were a decade beyond that.  We joined the Kumuka 21 day European Winter tour in London on March 13, and returned on April 2, 2009.

The tour turned out to be an absolute success.  The age constraints were not a problem as nothing was scheduled that we beyond our capabilities, and indeed, there were two other couples older than ourselves.  In fact all the age groups mixed in very well together and enjoyed each other’s company.  This was in part due to Edward and Coco’s personalities.

Special mention needs to be made of the driver, Coco.  He was not only exhibited outstanding driving skills, but was also a font of practical information.

Edward, our tour leader kept everything low key and rolling along, and sorted out whatever problem arose.

We particularly enjoyed the fact that we had at least two nights in every location.  It gave us time to rest up a bit, as well as wander the cities on our own.  Edward and Coco always made sure we knew where and when we would be picked up or that we knew how to use the public transportation.  Edward always made sure we had a map in every city.

We have no hesitation in recommending Kumuka tours.
