Introduction: Captivating mountain scenery, home-stays and genuinely friendly locals, all await on this seven day adventure in the north of Vietnam. Towering limestone cliffs surround deep, lush green valleys, and ethnic groups flourish in this idyllic setting. Starting and ending in the beautiful French colonial city of Hanoi, our journey then takes us through beautiful forests dotted with tranquil villages, and alongside rice paddies. We encounter ethnic groups such as the Muong and the Thais, and we learn about their tribal way of life in our village stays and at the vibrant local markets. In the villages we stay in traditional stilted houses. If you need to get back to nature, or if you desire a real journey “off the beaten track”, then Pu Luong is the place for you!
