Sri Lanka Uncovered - Jean Kennedy
This tour was an amazing experience. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. You can get hot and humid on the coast and fresh and breezy in the mountains. The people are happy and fearless and while they do tend to follow you around and beg you to buy something, they are so polite, that it is difficult to get annoyed! The country is going on my list of places I want to live. Please go and find out for yourself. The country has had a tough time and needs people to visit.

My Kumuka tour of East Africa was everything I wanted my trip of a lifetime to be. I was inspired by the scenery, the wildlife and most of all, the african people. I was blown away by their warmth, friendliness and general happiness although many of them lived amongst desperate poverty. I sat in awe when watching the beautiful Mountain Gorillas of Uganda and realised how precious and fragile the really world is. I was instantly immersed in African culture from the time I started in Kampala to the time I finished in beautiful Zanzibar. The countries I visited are so diverse yet unified by the people. I soaked up the many experiences each place had to offer. Our tour leader Georgette was awesome. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and genuine love for Africa was infectious and made everybody feel alive. I have met some great people and made some wonderful friends that I have shared fantastic experiences with. I have a thirst to go back to Africa one day and would love to meet up again with Georgette and Kumuka.

Three Capitals - Patricia Ahern
What an experience!! All of the transfers were there waiting for me, drove me to the hotel/train and helped me check in. I can honestly say nothing went wrong - not once. The Mongolian tour guide was so cute and nice. He was really happy and proud that his city was the only city that didnt have McDonalds and Starbuck. Oh and the food was yummy. Its really hard in Mongolia for veggies. I still cant eat mutton. At the ger camp I had my own guide, cook and like house lady who lit the fire. I was like royalty. I was expecting a little hut with dirt everywhere. I swear it was like a hotel in the middle of no where. There were 3 beds per ger with a roasting fire and beers to help pass the time while star gazing. You have just the right amount of time in Moscow. The Russian language can be hard to speak and they are nice but very serious people. I was expecting the train to be a little boring but it wasnt. Met with 2 other foreigners and the rest were Mongolian traders. I'd nearly go on the trip again just to see all the traders in action - I cant even explain it. Overall, the trip wasnt too demanding and you dont need to be fit fit. The guides will help you ease into the different cultures and languages and then you can enjoy without insulting anyone. Thats what I love about the Kumuka tours - they leave you do your own thing but act as a safety blanket. The choice is yours if you want to do all the tour options or you can just wander around and meet up with the group at a specific time. You have all the freedom you would travelling alone but its not stressful. I'd go again tomorrow if anyone needs a travel buddy

Dear Kumuka,
I am writing to express my delight in the service that I received from my Kumuka team on my recent trip to Africa!
I did the Serengeti, Crater + Zanzibar trip ex Nairobi on the 31st December -obviously there was conflict in the outskirts of Nairobi, however, our Tour Leader, Muagi, did everything in his capabilities to make us feel safe and comfortable. Throughout the trip I witnessed Muagi going the extra mile to assist other tour members with various travel arrangements outside the actual Kumuka trip.
Noah's cooking was fabulous and he endeavoured to make every job as simple for us as possible. Hasran's driving was exceptional -I was expecting it to be a little more rough in the African roads. All 3 of your staff have a wonderful sense of humour and always ready for a laugh. It made the tour that little bit more special, they really are exceptional people and I would hope that this feedback will be passed on to them so that they can be praised.
As a Travel Agent, I will be able to confidently and glowingly recommend the Kumuka product in the future.

Winter Rhapsody - Elise Pedley
In Berlin we used a new hotel, the Hotel Berlin. It was excellent and should be used again. Really enjoyed the tour and having the free time to see what I wanted to see in each city. My highlights included Berlin, visiting Sachsenhausen, the Christmas lights, markets and activities in all the cities we visited, Vienna.

European Waltz - David Klosser
We had a fantastic trip with Martin and Eleni on our 19 day trip from Rome to London (European Waltz). We especially appreciated how organised and efficient the tour was delivered. There was lots of information and handy hints along the way which made it more worthwhile and enhanced our short stays in each city - the best advise was where the best chocolate and cake shops were. The group was also a good mix ages and suited to us who have just turned 30.
Thanks to the whole Kumuka team.
We'd like to think we made a great choice in selecting you guys!
