The aim of the Kumuka Worldwide affiliates program is to encourage visitors to our website whilst earning you a commission for every tour booked, following a visit by one of your website visitors.

1. How do I become an affiliate?
Complete the online application form and we will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your place in the Kumuka Affiliate Program.

2. How much commission can I earn?
The SKY is the limit on Earnings. Kumuka Worldwide will pay partners 10% commission on net revenue received on all tours booked via the affiliate program. Please note that specialist tours, hotels & airport transfers are not commissionable & not included in the program.

3. How does it work?
By placing a unique identifier in all referring links to our website from yours, we can track which site referred a customer to us resulting in a tour booking. This value is passed to our site when the user clicks on the link, known as a query string.

The value is then stored in memory on our server while the user views our site. If they make a booking on that visit, your identifier is recorded against that booking and we will e-mail you a notification automatically when the booking is made.

We also store the identifier as a cookie on the user’s machine so that if they return to our site within 6 months of using your referring link, we will also pay you commission on that booking. We provide an on-line page for viewing reports which includes completed booking referrals so that you can view up-to-date statistics on your referrals.

Another option is to build your own pages using our exciting new XML Web services as described here. This allows you to incorporate our tour details within your own site however you feel is appropriate. Only the booking must be redirected to our booking page which is provided as a link by the Web service. In the near future, we will offer direct booking via the Web service allowing you to gather information from the customer and submitting it directly without the customer ever visiting kumuka.com. 4. What are the benefits?
The purpose of the affiliate programme is to let you earn more for doing less.

How? By allowing clients to book on your site via ours at no extra cost to yourself in set up fees, they book on-line with the full benefits of e-commerce facilities and you earn the commission on the sale.

5. How can I monitor my sales performance?
When you become a registered member of Kumuka affiliates, you will receive an email for each booking made. You can also view a report after logging in to the Affiliates section of the site that lists how much activity your affiliate id has generated. This section can be located here.

6. How do I put a link on my site?
To add a tracked link to your site, go to the affiliates program and obtain the html code for text links, or banners. It's very simple to use and links can be created in just a few seconds!

The following example shows the way that the extra information should be embedded in links to our site (using an example identifier of 999999):

7. Who can join?
We accept applications to our affiliate program from a huge range of websites, from companies, organisations and individuals. We reserve the right to refuse applications from websites that contain content deemed inappropriate to be linked to the Kumuka brand.

8. How will I be paid?
At the end of each month Kumuka will send you a statement showing all of the bookings originating from your website. A cheque for the amount of commission earned on each booking will be sent within 30 days of the clients departure.

9. What reports can I see online?
You can view how many booking have been made and details about each booking including amounts paid etc with the Bookings Report. The Page Visit Report shows how many visitors have come to our site by linking from your site, and the Web Services Report shows the number of times you have accessed our site using our XML Web services (if you are not using the Web services, please ignore this report).
