Lynda Gayle White Malloy says:

Hi Helen, I hope this finds you well. I just want to tell you how wonderful our trip was. The kumuka tour was absolutely over the top amazing. The guide in thailand was just the best and the group of people we were with became like family. 7 others plus us. Ages 27 to 67. The trek in the jungle with a guide and the stay in Karen homes and Lahoo homes was probably the best part of the trip if I had to pick. the elephant ride down the middle of the river and the two day barge trip on the Mekong river were all fantastic.

We rose early to go out to feed the monks at 6am in Laos in Lang Prabang which is a great city and great area of Laos. the organization of what you did to make it all work was stellar. Your recommendation for this type of trip was just the best and I would do this trip again in a heartbeat. At every turn, it was a wow. so thank you so much for your attention to detial, advice and direction on this Helen. It was probably from pat and my perspective the best trip/holiday we have experienced to date. And we will recommend you to our friends as a preferred travel agent.

I will call you sometime soon to tell you more but in the meantime, thanks again.

Gayle

Introduction: This Grand Indo-China trip offers a wonderful chance to explore two of South East Asia's great cultural centres, the North Thailand hills and Laos' Mekong Delta. There can be no better way to witness the stunning scenery and experience the friendliness of the people. After an opening tour of Bangkok, we journey to Chiang Mai in the north. Here we trek by foot and on elephant back - plus rafting on a bamboo raft - to the hillside villages. A highlight of Chiang Mai will be the holy Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep temple visited by Buddhist pilgrims all year round. Next, it's on to Laos - a country standing in great contrast to Thailand and one hardly touched by tourism. Its landscape is both stunning and raw and its people welcome visitors with open arms. The highlight of this leg of the tour is a truly memorable boat trip on the Mekong River with the chance to see in all its splendour the spectacular and ever-changing scenery and the rural waterside life. Following on from there are visits to the cultural centres of Luang Prabang, with its monks in their colourful robes going about their religious rituals, and the capital Vientiane.
